Most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort. We use numbing agents to minimize any pain during the procedure.

 

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and caffeine at least 72 hours before your appointment. Ensure your skin is clean and free of makeup. Moisturize the skin to prepare for the treatment. Shave/wax prior if needed. No lasering or tanning before the appointment. Wear loose fitting clothing as area may be slightly tender feeling like a sunburn. Eat prior to and drink plenty of water as hydration is always a must. You may not be able to work out for 5-7 days following the treatment. Please shower before treatment. 

 

How do I care for my skin after the procedure?

Follow the aftercare guidelines provided after your session, including keeping the area clean, avoiding sun exposure, and using healing ointments. A sheet with very detailed instruction will be provided. No laser hair removal for 14 days. No salt water, exfoliation, or waxing for 14 days. No self tanner for 30 days. No direct sun exposure for 30 days. Stretch marks can be reddened or dark up to 4-6 weeks afterward so do not panic.

There may be some redness and swelling, but most clients can return to normal activities within a day or two. Some are the same day dependent upon the area treated.
